New Apartment

We bought a new apartment in Subang and currently waiting for the sales and purchase agreement to be done before any renovation. In the meantime, my sis has helped me to design and decorate the apartment space using The Sims 2 simulation. It was designed according to the layout size and plan given by the agent.

Any comments or ideas are welcomed! Anyway, liked to thank my sis Li Yun for her effort. She could be our future architect!

Get Well Soon!

Yes, the Beijing Olympics opens today and surely there will be quiet streets all around Malaysia tonight.

Mum will be leaving hospital in the morning and we were busy packing up stuffs and drive her home.

She received more than forty flower/fruit basket in her five nights stay in Penang Lam Hua Hospital after undergoing a minor surgery. She said she must go home today so that she can enjoy the Olympic ceremony at home.

Well, the 40 baskets are more than enough to held a fruit party, really… I feel so healthy eating so many fruits while staying there. However, this morning I have to carry around 20 of those to stock up in the car. It feels awkward as many people will be looking at you (the flowers you’re carrying actually) along the way, and the nurses who saw me going up and down 3 to 4 times.

There are only two kinds of wishes I found among all the baskets, one is ‘get well soon’, another ‘wishing you a speedy recovery’. I guess people have gone out of vocabulary in wishing for recovery. Maybe they should add something like ‘get well soon so that you can go back and watch the Olympic open ceremony’, hehe… or ‘get well soon because the boss needs you’… stress -_-|||

Anyway I took some pictures of the flower baskets, nice ones… Some we gave it away, some we kept and brought it to our house.

This one is really special (top), made by a Japanese friend who knew my mum. She said she had a class teaching people how to make and design flower baskets! I had a little broken Japanese conversation with her =p

Thank God mum is recovering fast. And really thank you for the family and friends who came to visit her and prayed for her. Hai! She is Genki desu...

Now we are checking how many florists are there in Penang alone… the forty baskets are from forty different florists eh...
